This painting is a strange little beast, hung in our gallery space it has an odd, quietly haunting presence.
An engaging face gazes out, and beyond, slipping past the viewer rather than meeting them.
Ludvig paints in watercolour on primed canvas, allowing his loose, instinctive mark-making to bleed, drift and settle across each work.
The pieces in this series are housed in handmade frames crafted by the artist himself, each one thoughtfully made to echo and complete the work it holds.
