​Whistleblower Gallery has the pleasure to exhibit BLOOM, a new body of work by Ryan Callanan.

 

This series of semi-sculptural works and paintings are the result of Ryan Callanan’s recent explorations into botany and the natural world.

Challenging traditional ideas and popular references of flowers and flower arrangements in both arts and science, this new body of work seeks to alter the viewer’s perception of a quintessential subject matter.

​

This collection breaks into a new territory for Ryan Callanan who is best known for his now ubiquitous smileys and expletive sculptural quotes.
