Pinky is a UK-based visual artist and illustrator known for his psychedelic, graffiti-inspired imagery and bold, colourful compositions. Drawing on influences from Graffiti, comics and psychedelic illustration, his work has developed into a distinctive and instantly recognisable visual language that combines playful energy with sharp graphic clarity.
Working across a wide range of mediums, Pinky’s practice spans illustration, large-scale murals, merchandise design, live art events and commercial commissions. Skilled in many areas of contemporary visual communication, he is equally comfortable creating detailed studio illustrations, large public artworks and collaborative projects. His work balances a strong personal aesthetic with an ability to translate ideas across formats, from gallery pieces and prints to large-scale visual environments.
Over the course of his career Pinky has worked with an extensive list of international clients including Levi’s, Nike, Flip Skateboards, Unilever, Gnu Snowboards, Red Bull, Glastonbury Festival and the British Library. His work has been exhibited internationally across Europe, North America and Asia, and his prints are held in several collections, including the permanent print collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.Pinky’s work is characterised by vibrant colour, fluid line work and a playful visual language built from recurring symbols, patterns and graphic motifs. These elements combine to create energetic compositions that feel both contemporary and timeless.
Alongside his studio practice, Pinky is also known for creating large-scale murals and building art events, bringing his distinctive style into public spaces and collaborative environments. His ability to translate intricate illustrative ideas into bold, impactful works at any scale has made him a sought-after artist for both cultural and commercial projects.Through a career spanning more than three decades, Pinky has continued to evolve his visual language while maintaining the unmistakable character that has defined his work from the beginning, vibrant, imaginative and instantly recognisable.
