Description
The artist has been exploring his local area, and this is a piece looking at the area where the sea and land meet. It is from a group of works that look at the transit of water and play with some new techniques, using monoprinted papers and carbon paper. Like much of Charlton’s recent work, his distinctive finishing techniques, using polished matt wax, give the surface a wonderful feel.
