Description
RON is one of the major works in the artists' new CUBE-IST collection.

This piece references the US tattoo artist Ron. Binnies' depiction of his close friend presents him as a triptych. The front and back of the piece reveal Ron's inked body, while, when opened, it reveals the anatomical structure of the human form. The work brings the artist full circle, back to his early training in anatomical drawing, and demonstrates his deep understanding of the human form.

Binnie’s works are a blend of tradition and his own striking graphic language. He is well known for his tribal tattooing and is considered one of the legends of the form.
