Description
This is one of a set of new works into the gallery. This work, Numbered Archive, 13, represents a piece made from collaged work created and collected between 2014–2018. The original drawings and found imagery have been brought together and collaged to produce an original work mounted onto canvas. Each piece comes with eyelets in each corner and is sealed in a matt varnish.
Each of these pieces is a complex layering of different items and contains many of the motifs the artist is known for.
 
Sanders works intuitively with found materials, fabric and collage, transporting us to other realms. Drawing on symbology and the occult, he forges his own visual language and forms. His work is a powerful and compelling fusion of materials, in which scale and texture immerse us in his tribal and spiritual world.
