Description
This is a dusty little view across Weymouth beach, painted en plein air in oils. It is a wonderful example of the artist's work produced while observing the world around her.
The gentle 'hum' of the aerial perspective gives the painting the hazy warmth of a summer's day. There is something almost Mediterranean about the light, making it easy to imagine the dry heat and holidays by the sea.
