Description
This beautifully carved rosewood block depicts the God Cernunnos. This original traditional printing block has been intricately hand-carved using hammer and chisel into a block of rosewood, then inked up and used to print onto paper and fabric. It has then been inked up one final time.
Treubhan’s work explores traditional Pictish customs and storytelling. Cernunnos is the Lord of the Wild Things, a powerful deity from the Celtic tradition.
 
Treubhan’s work is celebrated for its deep respect for tradition and stunning execution. From his tattoo art to his illustrations, this piece is a beautiful example of his original work. We are very lucky to have his original work available for sale.
