Description
A notably more abstract piece from Cain's recent set of canvasses. This original painting was produced in a period in which the artist's interest appears to be in the use of black and white. The restrained palette allows the bold black and white to sit alongside a variety of pinks, from pastel tones to heavily saturated pigments. Up close the complex use of masking and delicate use of texture can be seen.
