Title

Nago, the Forrest guardian

Year

2024

Description

Nago, the Forrest guardian by Knight is a pendant carved from a single boar tooth. The work explores natural forms, with stems, stalks, buds and seed heads twisting together in organic movement. Here, Knight pays homage to the botan forms and nature, buds burst, seeds in husks and plants stems.

As with all of the artist’s work, nothing compares to holding this wonderfully tactile carving in your hands (or wearing it around your neck). It is a truly beautiful piece, demonstrating remarkable mastery in the art of carving.

Knight’s pendant works are all fitted to a cord, complete with a hand-carved toggle, and ready to wear.
